After the rubber is vulcanized, there are always some bubbles on the surface of the sample, with different sizes. After cutting, there are a few bubbles in the middle of the sample.
Analysis of the causes of bubbles on the surface of rubber products.
- Uneven rubber mixing and irregular operators.
- The parking of rubber films is not standardized and the environment is unsanitary. Management is not standardized.
- The material has moisture
- Insufficient vulcanization
- Insufficient vulcanization pressure.
- There are many impurities in the vulcanizing agent, the impurities of small molecules decompose in advance, and the bubbles remain in the product
- The exhaust design of the mold itself is unreasonable, and the air cannot be exhausted in time when the rubber is punched!
- If the product is too thick, the rubber material is too small, the heat transfer of the rubber is slow, and after the surface is vulcanized, the fluidity of the rubber decreases, resulting in a shortage of materials, so air bubbles may be generated.
- The exhaust gas was not exhausted during the vulcanization process.
- formulation issues, the vulcanization system should be improved.
Solution:
Improve vulcanization pressure and time
- Extend the vulcanization time or increase the vulcanization speed.
- Pass several times before vulcanization.
- Exhaust more frequently during vulcanization.
