Conveyor belts play a big role in today’s high-speed development society, involving industries such as food, logistics, chemical and pharmaceuticals.
However, as an indispensable and important accessory, the conveyor belt needs to be replaced frequently.
Some equipment is more convenient to replace, but some are more troublesome. The equipment is integrated and cannot be disassembled. In this way, when we choose the conveyor belt, we should choose the open end conveyor belt or the endless belt according to the actual condition of the equipment.
Replacement Steps:
- Close all power, remove the protective cover, loosen the bolts of the motor device, and then move the motor to make the conveyor belt slack to facilitate the removal of the damaged conveyor belt.
- Check the conveyor belt. If there is abnormal wear, it means that there is a problem with the transmission device, and then select a suitable conveyor belt to prepare for replacement.
- Check the anti-deflection, transmission protection and other devices. If there are wear and other problems, they must be adjusted and repaired immediately.
- Install the conveyor belt on the idler, first adjust the center distance of the transmission device, adjust the conveyor belt to the appropriate tension with a tension measuring instrument, and then tighten the bolts of the motor.
- After the replacement is completed, run the conveyor belt to check the status after replacement. If there is noise or vibration, shut it down immediately and check the motor and roller.
